Jumping Front Kick, Jab, Cross…

Thanks my friend Mr Natha for the first video one:
I remember once a Taekwondo Instructor of a sister school (a black guy) was attacked on holiday (by white guys) and took down all 4 assailants with no weapons. He said at the time that it was the simple techniques, practiced again and again, year after year, that saved his and his wife’s lives. Not his spinning bird kick then?
I was 18 at the time and didn’t realise the wisdom in his words. I’m 32 now and have training several styles fairly intensely. I remember these words all the time now and even more so when the opportunity arises to study a real physical conflict.
So for technical study or for raw violent entertainment – here’s what made my day today. (Thanks Bhav)
The text also applies to this classic street fighter:

Tong Bei

To describe Tong Bei as an esoteric style wouldn’t justly describe its err.. esoteric-ness. I’ve now had the privilege of meeting 3 different advanced practitioners of Tong Bei and the warms-ups, the stretches, the drills, the Qi energy constructs in the movements, the raw speed is very unique.
