I’m in Dinejad, Get Me Out Of Here!

Thanks to Devan for the title… You all HAVE to read this BBC article!!
Now there’s people that chat shit and people that chat shit. This is nothing to do with opinions on the mans politics but how exactly is going to explain the claimed absence of homosexuals in Iran when they start coming out, so to speak. No Gays in Iran? Hmm… Let’s keep it real dude, if there are no Gay people in Iran then why is homosexuality illegal? Isn’t that then just a redundant law?
Sounds like someone’s in denial…
I did a brief search and found some interesting information:
Wikipedia states that:
Iran carries out more gender change operations than any country in the world besides Thailand.
But homosexuality is a sin? I know they are two different things but it leaves a lot of gray area for any ‘caught in the act’. They claim that they are ‘curing’ transsexuals (?).
In fact how do they figure out who’s who from these people: The Iranian Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Trans-gender Organisation? Err.. What if you execute someone you could have ‘cured’?
And how about this useless organisation: The Iranian Gay & Lesbian Healthcare Providers Association. ???????????? What is the point of this organisation? Are they not listening? Ahmadinejad says there aren’t any Gays, Let alone Gay Doctors! Who are they trying to help??
All I can say is this is going to blow up in his face… It’s going to be a real pain in the arse… He’ll regret saying these things when he comes across all the gay people in Iran… This is not going to help increase his friend’s circle…
Ok ok. I’ll stop. Honestly though, this article is quite frightening if it’s considered at face value as it reflect the general belief and level of political and historical education (or propaganda?) that may be present behind certain closed doors in parts of the middle east. I mean he claims the Holocaust was a myth…
Just read for yourself:

Heroes in a Dark Age?

UPDATE! I changed the link after a malicious copyright claim attack by the producers of The Daily Show!
Indigenous Bolivian Evo Morales has not only become the first Native South American to be elected President but has done good on his promises made during election time. Looking around at the news, the kids shooting each other here in the UK, the mess in the middle east and the paranoia of western nations post 9/11, it has started to feel like a downhill journey in terms of hope. Being Indian myself (Indian Indian, not American Indian – in case there is confusion with this posts’s subject matter) I heard a lot about how we are in Kal-yug or the Dark Age of man and all these things are supposed to happen as part of some Universal Plan. So people like Evo Morales really do stand out like a Beacon of hope in these ‘Dark’ times – and show by example that Politics isn’t all evil after all
Here is another link – they keep killing them. worst case – if they’re dead, just search on Youtube (sorry)
